Drawing and painting have been an integral part of my life since childhood.  Creating art is an escape from reality, where exploration of ideas is unbounded and unconstrained.   In that space, time just doesn't matter.

My primary focus medium are acrylic and oil paints; though sometimes, I am pulled to an old favorite: pen and ink.   Most often, I paint on stretched canvases ranging from 5" square pieces to 36" x 60".

I enjoy the great outdoors by hiking, gardening, keeping chickens and kayaking.  Birdwatching is a more recent hobby which has inspired me with my latest work.
